Head of GenAI / VFX Supervisor

JAMM Visual · Los Angeles, California

  • Built the studio's generative practice and lead it today. Set the workflows, the tooling and the quality bar, leading a team that mixes traditional VFX artists with generative specialists.
  • GenAI supervision across the studio's national campaign work, including Super Bowl spots. Amazon Alexa, Hyundai (FIFA World Cup 2026), Gatorade, Kia, Beats, Visa, eBay, Coffee Mate, California Lottery and Kalshi.
  • Train and finetune models as well as working with the closed-source ones. Finetune open backbones (Flux, Qwen, Hunyuan, Wan, MiniMax H3) with custom adapters built per campaign, so the output matches an established look rather than a generic one, and reach for a closed model where it is the fastest route to the shot.
  • Take the research to the client. Read the papers, test what's new, and pitch viable techniques into live bids alongside agencies and creative directors.
  • Integrate machine learning into the everyday VFX toolset (roto, paint, set extension, face replacement, dubbing) so it runs inside the existing pipeline rather than alongside it.
  • Run the studio's internal training on generative tools: hands-on sessions, video tutorials and a running channel of technique updates, so the practice spreads beyond the specialists.
